At the Pier
Do you have refreshments available at the terminals?
Across the street from the Atlantic Highlands Terminal, Sissy’s and On The Deck offer refreshment options available for purchase. Almost Home is set up in our Belford terminal Monday-Friday mornings.
Where can I find information on your pier locations?
All of our pier location information can be found through the Locations & Directions page. Here you can find address information, ticket office hours of operation, available amenities, etc.
What happens if the weather is bad at the pier?
We try to provide adequate shelter for passengers. Atlantic Highlands offers covered walkways all the way out to the pier. At Belford, an indoor waiting area is available. At Highlands, a floating indoor terminal is available.
Is the pier handicap accessible?
The majority of the piers used are handicap accessible. If you have additional accessibility questions, please call us at 1-800-BOATRIDE (1-800-262-8743).
How early do I need to arrive at the pier before my scheduled departure?
Seastreak would like to remind you to leave yourself plenty of time to arrive for your departure, find parking and purchase tickets. We recommend arriving at least 20-30 minutes before your departure. From New Bedford, we recommend that you plan to arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to a departure during the summer season.
What is Priority Boarding and when do you do it?
Unless otherwise noted, the Captain of each vessel will determine if priority boarding will be utilized based upon the volume of customers observed to be waiting to board a given departure. If priority boarding is required, ticket book holders will be boarded first. Of these, 40-trip ticket book holders will be first to board, followed by 20-trip ticket book holders, and then 10-trip ticket book holders.
In order for 40-trip, 20-trip, and 10-trip ticket book holders to participate in priority boarding, you must present your ticket book cover along with your ticket. In the absence of a ticket book cover, customers with 40-trip, 20-trip, and 10-trip tickets will be boarded next along with customers holding other ticket types.
No one-way or round-trip tickets will be sold for priority boarded departures until all ticket holders are boarded.
Are there security guards at the piers?
Dedicated security is available at the following piers:
- Atlantic Highlands through the Atlantic Highlands Harbor Patrol
- Pier 11 / Wall St. (during regular operating hours)
