At the Pier

Do you have refreshments available at the terminals?

At Highlands, we setup a self-serve complimentary coffee station filled with gourmet Jersey Roast fresh breakfast blend coffee. Across the street from the Atlantic Highlands Terminal, Sissy’s and On The Deck offer refreshment options available for purchase.

Where can I find information on your pier locations?

All of our pier location information can be found through the Locations & Directions page. Here you can find address information, ticket office hours of operation, available amenities, etc.

What happens if the weather is bad at the pier?

We try to provide adequate shelter for passengers. Atlantic Highlands offers covered walkways all the way out to the pier. At Highlands, a floating indoor terminal is available.

Is the pier handicap accessible?

The majority of the piers used are handicap accessible. If you have additional accessibility questions, please call us at 1-800-BOATRIDE (1-800-262-8743).

How early do I need to arrive at the pier before my scheduled departure?

Seastreak would like to remind you to leave yourself plenty of time to arrive for your departure, find parking and purchase tickets. We recommend arriving at least 20-30 minutes before your departure. From New Bedford, we recommend that you plan to arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to a departure during the summer season.

What is Priority Boarding and when do you do it?

The Captain of each vessel will determine if Priority Boarding will be utilized when pulling in to the pier. If it is determined that there will be an unusually large number of passengers attempting to board a given departure, the captain will board Ticket Book Holders first followed by Daily Round-Trip and One Way Ticket holders. We will not sell tickets for any run that is priority boarded. Only if space allows, we will sell one way and round trip tickets  at the boat.

Are there security guards at the piers?

Dedicated security is available at the following piers:

  • Atlantic Highlands through the Atlantic Highlands Harbor Patrol
  • Pier 11 / Wall St. (during regular operating hours)
  • Hoboken (during regular operating hours for the transit terminal)
