Important Information To Be Aware Of:
- Sandy Hook Beach ferry departures must be reserved in advance, and are only available as part of a round-trip originating in Manhattan. Reservations are now available for the 2025 season!
- Campers wishing to stay across multiple days are welcome to call our office to make a reservation.
- Sandy Hook Beach ferries are only for beach-goers with a return ticket.
- Please note that Sandy Hook prohibits bringing alcoholic beverages onto park grounds. Additionally, Dogs are not allowed on ocean beaches at Sandy Hook between March 15 through September 15.
- Visit McFly’s on the Hook for food, beverages, and ice cream.
- There are also bicycles available for rent through Sandy Hook Bike Rentals

- Reservation Change/Cancellation Policy: If notified prior to the ticketed departure, Seastreak will exchange your round trip ticket reservation for a fee for future travel to/from Sandy Hook aboard a Seastreak ferry. Failure to notify prior to departure results in forfeiture. Refunds will be provided only if the ticketed trip is canceled.
Sandy Hook Beach Shuttle Service
Complimentary shuttle service provided between the Sandy Hook Ferry Landing and several beaches within Sandy Hook: Gunnison Beach and Beach D. Our shuttle buses will be waiting for you upon arrival at Sandy Hook Beach and will bring you to the beach of your choice. We’ll pick you up in the afternoon for your return to the ferry.
