Are you looking for a great way to spend the afternoon amongst flowers, fresh air and theatrics? At Delacorte Theater in Central Park, you can experience Shakespeare in an entirely new way at Shakespeare in the Park.

Shakespeare in the Park is a completely free event. All you need to do to participate is wait in line for tickets on the day of the performance. So all you need to bring are blankets, some snacks and maybe a bottle of wine to enjoy this annual outdoor event.

Over the course of the summer there are two separate productions.  This year the park is proud to present Comedy of Errors playing from May 28th to June 30th and Love’s Labour’s Lost, A New Musical from July 23 to August 18th.  For more information go to http://www.centralpark.com/.

Want to make this day in the city even more relaxing? We suggest hopping on Seastreak. We make travel to and from the city completely stress-free with our accommodating crew, onboard snacks and cash bar, and luxuriously cushioned seats.

Are you a big Shakespeare buff? What’s your favorite play? Are you a hopeless romantic, and love Romeo and Juliet? Or are you fascinated with the dark side of Lady Macbeth? Let us know on Facebook or tweet us your favorites @SeastreakFerry!
