For most if not all of us, our day to day routines have been turned upside down by COVID-19 for the past several weeks.  We appreciate all of the kind notes and comments that our customers are sending us, and we look forward to the day when you all return to work and our docks and vessels are bustling again.

As you are probably aware, last year work commenced in Louisiana on the second Commodore class vessel.  While that work, like everything else, has come to a temporary standstill, we thought that this short video of recent progress on that vessel might provide you with a little ray of sunshine to signify brighter days ahead.

The video clip depicts an important milestone in the vessel’s construction. The hull of the vessel, which was constructed upside down, was successfully ‘flipped’ so that our partners at Midship Marine can begin work on the machinery and superstructure, or the area above the hull that includes the passenger cabins, bar, and pilothouse.  We are hopeful that this sistership to the Commodore will join our fleet in Spring 2021.

Sincerely,

Seastreak
