Possibly the most internationally known of these sweet destinations, this three story building has all the makings (and toppings!) of dreams come true. With over 7,000 pieces of candy, hundreds of celebrity fans, and 2.5 million visitors every year – there’s no arguing where to buy your next Snicker’s.
Dylan’s is also home to rare candy, old candy and brand new candy as well. It’s been a launching pad for new candy companies as well and boasts an upstairs bar where you can order something sans wrapper like a peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich. On your way up, don’t forget to look down – the clear stairs have a rotating candy display inside them, each piece placed by hand.

Guilt-free decadent heaven awaits you at Babycakes, where everything in this bakery is vegan, mostly gluten-free and downright delicious! Their loaves of bread (banana chocolate chip, for example – yum!) melt in your mouth, not dissimilar from the cupcakes, cookies, and brownies stocked in the small glass cases.
The storefront on Broome Street in the middle of Chinatown might be tiny and oddly placed, but what it lacks in space it makes up for in cuteness. The girls behind the counter cheerily serve you in pastel pink aprons and the decor is a total throwback. Best you take your treats to go, though, because finding a seat in this always-packed store is near impossible.

Almost as ubiquitous as Starbucks, Crumbs Bakery has become the go-to bakery for all occasions. Known for their wide variety of colorful (and stuffed!) cupcakes, their sprinkles and adorable decorative toppings steal the show. Crumbs currently has a Valentine’s Day themed collection, so hurry and go grab them!
