New Yorkers know we’ve got some of the best eateries around in the big city. Hungry diners less have to figure out where they can go, and more narrow down the choices to just one. You might not realize, however, that there’s delicious cuisine one short ferry ride over the river, in place with the added bonus of small-town appeal. This weekend, head for Atlantic Highlands to get a taste of what the local restaurants have to offer at the Eats and Arts Festival! It’s happening on Sunday, May 31 from 1-4 PM, all along First Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, NJ!

Eats and Arts Festival 1

A Little Bit of Everything

Spend an afternoon discovering new favorite restaurants while visiting the best-kept secret of the Atlantic Coast! If you’ve got a case of restaurant risk aversion, there’s no better way to scout out future dining destinations than to sample the dishes they have on offer. The Eats and Arts Festival offers a unique opportunity to learn about the chefs of Atlantic Highlands while contributing to a good cause.

Some of the best restaurants in the town, including Kunya Siam and Christine’s Italian Restaurant, will be showcasing their chefs with conversation and live demonstrations in their native kitchen habitats. Once you’ve tasted what the eateries have on offer, make your way to the Arts Corner at 135 First Avenue for free coffee from Fair Mountain Coffee Roasters while you tour around the gallery.
