…OK, well, actually they are. That’s their name, I mean. They’re not a cheap trick in the more common sense of the phrase. You get the idea.
Anyway — music! The kind of music that gets your fingertips a-tappin’ and your feet itching to dance. That rhythmic, catchy, wonderful music that we all love so much. You know you want it. You know you need it. You know it’s time… for a concert! And specifically, as you have probably guessed by this point, a Cheap Trick concert. The band is playing at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank on Wednesday the 23rd at 7:30pm!
The Music
If you don’t know the band, you still know their music. They’ve done such famous songs as “Surrender,” “Want You To Want Me,” and “The Flame.” And many more — they’ve been around since the 70s, after all, and that says a lot for their staying power. They’ve even written the theme song for The Colbert Report. Their stats for performances, records sold, awards won, etc., are copious enough that I won’t even try to list them all, but they’re really quite impressive. This is not a concert you want to miss!
Not Always Cheap, But Always Worth It
Regular tickets to the concert start at $20, but if you’re a True Fan, you have some extra options to look into. For $150, you can get the VIP Tour Package, which includes a seat in the first 15 rows, a specially designed tour t-shirt, a limited print poster, and some other tasty goodies. And if you really want to go all out, you can pay $250 for the Meet and Greet Package. This nets you most of the items in the VIP Tour Package, a seat in the first five rows, and a chance to attend the exclusive meet and greet with the band, along with a personal photo with them.
