We want to take a moment to remind you of our ticket book policy with regard to expiration dates. All of our tickets are valid for use within 60 days of the date of purchase, including our 40-trip, 20-trip, and 10-trip commuter books.
Seastreak paper ticket books and single tickets expired on Friday, January 16, 2026. Therefore, all passengers must now have a digital commuter card or digital one-way or round-trip ticket to board all Seastreak vessels. A receipt does not replace a ticket and cannot be used in place of one for boarding a Seastreak vessel.
A few reminders regarding Digital Trip Cards:
- After purchasing a trip card, customers should create a My Seastreak account and link your trip card to your account: https://my.seastreak.com/
- Once a trip card is linked to your My Seastreak account, you can top up your trip card, view the number of trips remaining, expiration date, and the use history
- Please be mindful that trip cards can only be topped up with additional trips once the current trips remaining reaches 0
- After topping up or purchasing a new trip card, it can take up to 1 minute for the information to sync
- Best practice is to check your trips remaining and top up your trip card as needed 30 minutes prior to boarding. Automatic top-up can also be enabled via the My Seastreak portal
- It is now possible to perform a top up to your trip card using multiple credit cards via the My Seastreak portal
- For additional help setting up your account, our customer service representatives are available at all of our NJ ticket offices
