Let your kids be kids with some free fun at this year’s Madison Square Park Kids Fest! Put on by the Madison Square Park Conservancy which is responsible for the programming and upkeep of the park, it’s a day full of fun.
Let them run free too, because with food, live shows, arts and crafts, games, face painting, and storytelling it’s hard to keep up. So much to do in so little time, but it’s a great opportunity to enjoy the nice weather, socialize with the family and other kids.
The lineup for performances includes Field Station: Dinosaurs at 11am, Story Pirates at 12pm, and Mil’s Trills at 1pm. Songs for Seeds will also be making melodically beautiful music every hour.
Just think- how many things are free in life? And how many free things bring you joy? Factor in Seastreak’s kids 12 and under ride free through Memorial Day rule and you’ve got yourself a lot of fun for practically no money.
Sponsors of Kid Fest include Time Out New York Kids, Lego, Girl Scouts and The Montessori Schools.
While you’re at the park, check out Madison Square Eats, a food fair now in its sixth year with vendors selling all kinds of barbecued, baked, steamed and fried goodies.
