It’s early fall and the refreshing breeze is making this walk in the park even more enjoyable than the one in June. While the flowers aren’t blooming with their spring and summer grandeur, you see the leaves beginning to take on a familiar shade of yellow orange, a sign that one of our magnificent Northeast autumns is approaching. Below you a small bird flies gracefully from building to building. Wait..what?
At the High Line, you get to experience the beauty of New York City from above. What was once an old freight rail line, elevated above the streets of Manhattan’s West Side, is now a public park for all to enjoy. The High Line runs from Gansevoort Street to West 34th, and is an amazing spot to go to get a great view of the city from a unique perspective.
In addition to the amazing view, they also have fun events! From guided tours and stargazing on Tuesdays, to snack-making sessions with kids every Wednesday, the High Line is fun for all members of the family. They also host special events like concerts and wine tours. If you’re interested in finding out more about the High Line, and their upcoming events click here!
