Starting on Monday, July 29th, Seastreak will begin charging for overnight parking in the Atlantic Highlands and Highlands parking lots in New Jersey. Parking between the hours of 5:00 AM and 11:30 PM will continue to be free. The decision to charge for overnight parking has been driven primarily by the increasing number of cars staying in Seastreak lots for extended periods of time and taking valuable commuter parking spaces.
Instead of simply banning all overnight cars and enforcing current overnight parking rules, the team at Seastreak would rather charge a modest fee ($10 or $5 depending on the lot) to give customers the option to park overnight. Our hope is that these fees will serve two purposes: 1) act as a deterrent for long-term parkers and non-Seastreak customers and 2) offer the ability for Seastreak customers staying overnight in NYC to park near the terminals. We are confident that this new policy will benefit Seastreak commuters by offering more available spaces and leading to less congestion in the Atlantic Highlands and Highlands parking lots.
Customers will utilize Text2Park parking solutions to conveniently pay for overnight parking using their smartphones. Overnight parking will be enforced in the early mornings and cars parked illegally will receive citations. Cars that accrue multiple citations will be towed from the property by Rick Hennessey Towing (contact information below).

Seastreak customers working overnight shifts in NYC will not have to pay for overnight parking. These customers should reach out to [email protected] to discuss overnight parking permits.

Please be aware that there will be ongoing construction by All Saints Memorial Church (Stone Church) in the Highlands of Navesink. Monmouth County has long been planning to transform the five-point intersection by the Church entrance into a roundabout. This work is set to begin in August. Roads and the church entrance will remain open but expect delays and alternating traffic during the week. For more detailed information, please click on the link above.
