A breathtaking river cruise of fall colors

See more of the Hudson River than any other day cruise by riding with Seastreak on a luxury, high-speed catamaran! In addition to getting up-close views of New York’s stunning fall foliage, you’ll pass landmarks like the West Point Military Academy, the idyllic town of Cold Spring, and even the historic Bannerman Castle on your way to Milton, NY.

Seastreak passengers will have the option to pick one of three curated and all-inclusive experiences: Apple Picking & Hay Rides at Dubois Farms, Wine Tour to Benmarl Winery & Quartz Rock Vineyard, or the Walkway Over The Hudson Experience.

  • Incredible Views

New York is an international fall destination for a reason – the fall foliage is breathtaking. And you don’t need to travel far from the city to see it! The cruise up the Hudson River will meander under the George Washington Bridge, past the Cloisters, and by some breathtaking views of the Palisades until we reach our destination of Milton, NY.

  • Ticket Options

Upon arrival in Milton, NY, passengers will be split into three excursion groups! Each group will board a dedicated bus to the location of their choice. Destination selections are made ahead of the trip, through the ticket purchasing process. On the way to Milton, a Seastreak guide will pass out wristbands to identify the members of each group. Changes cannot be made on the day of the event. Read on to select the ticket that sounds right for you!

Option 1: Apple Picking & Hayrides at Dubois Farms

Dubois Farms is an idyllic place to spend an autumn day. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by farm staff and ushered to the on-site pizzeria. Enjoy a lunch of pizza, salad, soft drinks, and apple cider donuts and then explore the farm! Visit the children’s play area, check out the pumpkin patch, grab a local beer at the tavern, try a treat at the bakery, or shop for locally sourced jams, honeys, salsas, and mustards at the farm market. You’ll also have the chance to go apple picking and join a tractor pulled wagon ride! You’re sure to leave with a bag of freshly picked apples, a couple treasures from the market, and a smile on your face.

Lunch, the wagon ride, and apple picking bag are all included in the price of the ticket!

Option 2: Wine Tour to Benmarl Winery & Quartz Rock Vineyard

Nestled in the lush, green hills of Marlboro, you’ll find Benmarl Winery – the oldest vineyard in America! Make your first stop here for a delicious brick oven pizza buffet and a seated wine tasting of four varieties. The 37 acre estate has a large outdoor, tented area to enjoy the fall weather and stunning views of the hills surrounding the Hudson River. When you’re done with lunch and finished sipping your wine, you’ll head over to Quartz Rock Vineyard for the next round of indulgence.

Quartz Rock Vineyard is a small boutique winery on a rustic working fruit farm.  Award-winning wines are produced in small batches exclusively from fruit grown just steps away from where you’ll enjoy the finished product. Instead of receiving a flight, each of the five tasting wines will be poured for guests individually by knowledgeable wine associates.

Lunch and wine tastings are included in the price of the ticket!

Option 3: Walkway Over the Hudson

Walk over the Hudson River on the world’s longest elevated pedestrian bridge! The bus will drop you off at the Highland side of the Walkway Over the Hudson, and you can stroll at your own pace to Poughkeepsie on the other side while taking in the unbelievable views of the river and listening to the informative mobile audio tour. Anyone who wants to see the sights, but doesn’t want to walk the 1.28 miles to the other side, can grab a ride across the bridge on the tram! There is also an option to shorten the walk a bit by taking the elevator down to the Duchess County Park.

With your extra time, get a snack at one of the food trucks in the food court at the entrance of the walkway, or try a local restaurant in Poughkeepsie!
