The Children’s Museum of Manhattan is hosting a seriously ballin’ exhibit that that includes interactive activities to replicate the referees’ jobs on the field. The “You Make the Call” exhibit was made possible by MetLife Stadium, and the NFL.
Jump, roll and dive through a heart pounding obstacle course created to allow kids to train just like the pros do. You can even cheer your tot on when they score a touchdown!
On site is a real replica of the instant replay system used by the NFL refs, so when your child is done and confident that he or she played his or her best, you can watch the playback and make the correct call. Don’t forget to learn what NFL officials formally do by mastering the “zebra dance” that combines official call signals used by the pros, and fun dance moves!
Next, make your way to the art area where you can create a referee flag, an NFL coin or a puppet. When you’re done, be sure to check out the mini museum full of memorabilia like the Rule Book from 1942, official uniforms and famous flags.
Treat your kids to an NFL VIP experience at You Make the Call at the CMOM! After visiting this exhibit, they’ll be equipped for football when the new season rolls around for sure! But it’s only open until March 23rd – so take advantage of Seastreak’s kids 12 and under ride free promotion, and let us take you there!
