Whether you wear prescription glasses or not, you can pick up eyeglasses for less than $100 (Rx included), and sunglasses can be purchased for just a little more than that. Their competitive pricing, and unique business model (at home try-on!) is paving the way for ethical, and responsible business practices.
By cutting out the middle man, Warby Parker is able to design, produce, and sell their own line of stylish eyewear. Bonus? For every pair of glasses bought, they give one to someone in need. To date, they have donated over half a million pairs of glasses.

And have you seen their glasses? They are fashion forward, and come in so many awesome colors that no designer label is needed.
Prior to an additional storefront opening last year, customers were only able to purchase frames online, or at their flagship store in Soho. Their storefront has been widely successful, allowing anyone to pop in, try on, and see an onsite eye doctor with an appointment.
The decor is inspired by their traditional meets modern sensibility (much like their frames), taking style cues from a library. Rolling ladders, bookshelves, and wood finishes really make the space. Remember your visit, even if you don’t purchase glasses, by taking a picture in their photo booth.
They now have multiple locations around the country, including three stores in New York City. So skip the mall next time your vision needs an upgrade, and head to Warby Parker for a new pair of glasses. Never has four-eyes been so chic.
