There will be blood! Halloween’s lurking around the corner with hooded robe and scythe, just waiting for the unwary to wander by, and that means haunted houses are back! Fearless souls will definitely want to brave the horrors of Blood Manor, one of the longest-running haunted houses in New York! It’s at 163 Varick Street, about two and a half miles from Seastreak’s docks at Pier 11.
Hair-Raising Scares
For ten years, Blood Manor has brought fun and scares to New Yorkers for Halloween. This haunted house is about 5,000 square feet of frightening props, actors, and maze-like passages designed to chill your blood and make your adrenaline flow. Don’t let kids have all the fun this Halloween. Blood Manor is designed with adults in mind, and it’s not recommended for children under 14 years of age.
Visitors walk through the manor, and experience all the thrills firsthand in this 20-minute, cutting edge terror tour. The only comfort to be had in this disturbing, horrific house is that no one will touch you. Right? …right?
Wrong. Take a walk through Blood Manor on Touch Me Thursdays, and you’ll be able to take horror to the next level as the actors in the attraction actually make contact! Want to ratchet up the scares further? Try one of the Black Out Nights. Walk through the Blood Manor armed with a glow stick for your only light, and whatever courage you can muster.
Don’t Wait to Be Afraid
Blood Manor has designed a new timed ticket entry system to minimize the need to wait in line. Purchase tickets in advance, and show up at the designated time slot. You’ll get in more quickly without having to linger. Some walk-up tickets are sold every night as well.
Seastreak ferries take all the worry out of getting from here to there. Never be concerned about running late, or enduring dubious service. We’re one thing that won’t scare you this Halloween!
Sea you soon!
