Easter is almost here, so it’s time to get hopping on your plans for the holiday weekend! We felt so bad when we pointed out that adults don’t get to have as much egg-hunting fun, we went looking for the exception to the rule. There’s something for everyone!
Saturday, 1 PM and 2 PM – The Amazing Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt
Here’s a pair of Easter egg hunts that offer a bit of challenge! At 1 PM, at Sony Center (550 Madison Avenue), an all-ages hunt for eggs and prizes begins! It’s part hunt, and part obstacle course, and it leads you all over the city!
Grown-ups, here’s your chance. The 2 PM hunt starts at Slattery’s Midtown Pub (8 East 36th Street), and it’s for adults only. Bring your smartphone and your sense of adventure!
Thursday – Sunday, Various Times – Full Bunny Contact
This event is what happens when you mix an insane carnival with an Easter celebration. To call it “irreverent” would probably understate the matter. Full Bunny Contact features such events as a cage-match egg hunt, an egg put, a shoot the Peep game, and more!
Saturday, 12:30 to 3:30 PM – 4th Universalist Easter Egg Hunt
Hunt down eggs in Central Park in this hunt hosted by the 4th Universalist Society. There’s four different hunts, each geared towards a particular age group, as well as face painting, live magic, and other activities! Directions to the event will be sent with your ticket confirmation.
Sunday, 10:30 AM – 4 PM – 2015 Easter Parade and Easter Bonnet Festival
This unique parade isn’t as organized as other parades, but it’s a lot of fun! Create your best Easter hat and head down to 5th Avenue, between 49th and 57th Streets.
