Cena 2000

From a review by Zagat: “”Watching the boats go by” on the Hudson from the outdoor patio and bar is an “added treat” at Il Cenàcolo’s “more informal” sibling in Newburgh, where “well-prepared” Northern Italian fare is served by a “professional” staff; the interior is “cozy”, though most agree (weather permitting) alfresco is the “best way to pass an evening” for an “enjoyable”, if “pricey”, experience.””

The River Grill

The River Grill, nestled on Newburgh’s Historic Waterfront, boasts picturesque views of the Hudson Valley and the magnificent Hudson River banks just off its elegant main dining room.

Zagat says: “Alfresco dining is a must” at Mark Mallia’s “enjoyable” New American agree admirers who soak up the “wonderful water view” of Newburgh’s historic Hudson River from a patio perch in the summer and also tout the tables within, offering vistas “no matter what time of year”; add in “always-consistent” fare, with lots of seafood choices and “what more could you ask for?”
