The tour to trump all others is the famed NBC Studio Tour. Walk the halls your favorite hosts travel daily and get an up-close look at all the studios, including SNL, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and The Today Show!  The hour long tour is conducted by two pages in the highly regarded page program that trains ambitious young adults for the industry who are just as excited about network TV as you are. You’ll be an NBC connoisseur by the time you leave after learning their history, details on your favorite shows, and visiting the uber-cool control room responsible for over 100 hours of programming a day.

If you still haven’t gotten your TV fix, never fear! Everyone gets a chance to record a mini segment of their own on the big green screen, teleprompter and all. Then pick up a souvenir or two in the NBC Experience Store, which has a cafe for your convenience. Relax, grab a snack and feel good knowing it won’t be you in front of a live studio audience this Saturday night.

Adult tickets are only $24, while kids are just $21. It’s suggested you make a reservation in advance given the popularity of the tour, but you can do that when you purchase tickets online beforehand.  Grab the 12:20 pm ferry from Conner’s Highlands to Manhattan’s East 35th Street on a weekday or 12:00 pm on a weekend then leisurely make your way over to the studios on 6th Avenue which start new tours every 15 minutes.
