The Seventh Annual Nantucket Garden Festival highlights the many gorgeous garden ecosystems on Nantucket and focuses on sustainability and conservation. This July 22-23rd the festival features creative workshops, tours, fun events for the little ones, and a grand opening night party. Head over to 1 Rugged Road. The proceeds will provide operating and scholarship funds for the Nantucket Lighthouse School. The school serves the island’s children from pre-school years through 8th Grade.

The Nantucket Garden Festival is not only a beautiful experience but also a learning experience. The festival found its inspiration from the Lighthouse School’s organic garden and unique curriculum. Their hands-on approach to teaching encourages their students to bring the classroom out of doors.
