Scientists call some human societies “hunter-gatherers”. This means these people get most of their food from foraging the area around them. Hunter-gatherer societies tend toward nomadic, moving around to find the best plants and animals to get sustenance from. (Point anyone who says you don’t learn anything on the internet over here to prove them wrong.) Out here, we’ve moved away from that sort of lifestyle, but there’s no reason we can’t go back to our hunter-gatherer roots. All proceeds from this sale go to benefit the Atlantic Highlands Public Library, so you know you’ve got a worthy cause as an excuse to fill up your bookshelves.
