SeaStreak LLC is a leader in revitalizing fast passenger ferry services in the New York metropolitan area.  The company offers high-speed catamaran services to points in Manhattan from Central New Jersey with a fleet of four vessels with capacitys of up to 400 passengers.

In addition to commuter service, SeaStreak offers an array of special events and sightseeing cruises year round.

On March 31, 2008 SeaStreak and its four 400 passenger high speed ferries were aquired by New England Fast Ferry.

New England Fast Ferry started operations with the vessel the Ocean State in 2003.  The Ocean State is a 149 passenger T boat fast ferry that runs between Providence and Newport Rhode Island.  New England Fast Ferry was awarded the fast ferry route between New Bedford, Mass. and Martha's Vineyard Mass.  in 2003 and started operations with the Whaling City Express in 2004.  The Martha's Vineyard Express followed in 2005. 

New England Fast Ferry is a sister company of Moran Towing Co., the Interlake Steamship Company, and Mormac Marine Group, Inc.  Moran is the largest tug/barge operator on the East and Gulf Coasts.  Interlake Steamship Company owns and operates 9 self loading bulk vessels on the Great Lakes.

New England Fast Ferry and its sister companies are owned by the Barker and Tregurtha Families.  The founders of the companies are James R. Barker. who acts as the Chairman of NEFFCO, and Paul R Tregurtha, who is the Chairman and CEO of Moran Towing.
